The annual full service for all automatic doors and shutters is £120 + VAT for the first door, and £45 + VAT per door for each additional door requiring servicing.

The Doors and Gates (regulation 18) 1993 stipulates that all doors and shutters SHALL BE the subject of an appropriate maintenance program. FAILURE TO DO SO MAY RESULT IN PROSECUTION IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT. A doors & shutters service will contribute to your company’s health and safety requirements as shown in the Workplace Regulations Act 1992 – Regulation 5.

You will be contacted prior to doors & shutters attending site to arrange a suitable time working around you. We aim to cause as little disruption to your working day as needs be. Once a service has been carried out a detailed report is issued. Should there be any repairs after the service has been done then a separate quotation for these works will be forwarded to yourselves.
A doors & shutters Service includes the following:

  • Check all safety devices
  • Fully inspect all mechanical parts
  • Adjust locks if required
  • Apply lubricants to all relevant parts
  • Fire doors- mechanically test to ensure closure in event of fire
  • Check all electrics
  • Secure any loose fixings
  • Detailed written report after each visit

How long does an automatic door service take?

Most standard servicing visits take 45–90 minutes, depending on the complexity and condition of the door system. However, it’s possible that it could take longer if there are complications or if any further repairs are needed to ensure your compliance and safety. We will always communicate this to you upon visiting to ensure you are always in the know. 

Can you service older or discontinued door models?

In most cases, yes. Our team has extensive experience with legacy systems and will do their best to source parts or recommend suitable upgrades if needed. We carry lots of parts in our vans just in case we need to use them but with older systems, if a specific part is needed, it would need to be ordered in, and installed at a later date. We will let you know what’s going on at all times though as we believe in complete transparency.
